I have more than nineteen years’ experience working in private practice as a commercial and property solicitor (spanning Mackay, Brisbane and London).
I was born and bred in Mackay and have long-standing family connections to the region through one of Mackay’s longest-standing family-owned businesses, Porters Mitre 10 (a fifth generation family-owned business in its 140th year of operation). I am passionate about Mackay, the success of our business community and the growth of our region.
I can assist clients with a range of commercial and property matters, including:
- Estate Planning;
- Estate Administration (including contested estates);
- Leasing (commercial and retail);
- Business Sales and Acquisitions;
- Business Structuring;
- Business Succession;
- Shareholders' Agreements and Partnership Agreements;
- Commercial Property Sales and Acquisitions;
- Rural transactions; and
- Drafting and advising on Commercial Agreements and Contracts.
I enjoy giving back to our community and am a current member of the Saint Mary’s Catholic Primary School Board and the Rotary Club of Mackay and a former Executive Committee Member of the Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce, Mackay District Law Association, Saint Brendan’s Catholic Primary School Steering Committee, Saint Patrick’s College Board and the Mackay Kindergarten & Pre-school Association.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons, travelling, camping, wakeboarding, snowboarding and exploring the Mackay region. My sons also keep me busy with their many sporting endeavours. One of my greatest loves is watching my boys compete.

What our clients have to say
Christine
"Angela was such a pleasure to work with. I could not have asked for anything more, she was professional and efficient. Angela would always say what she thought, no matter what was going on and what the outcome would most likely be, then left it up to me to make my decision."
Nicola
"Kylie Bremner, conveyancing solicitor, Angela Hurley, partner and Brad Shanahan, partner at Wallace & Wallace Lawyers have been most helpful and I will continue to use Wallace & Wallace Lawyers for all of my legal advice. I have, and will continue, to refer friends, family, colleagues and patients in need of legal advice to Wallace & Wallace Lawyers as I know, like and trust the people there. An excellent team of ethical, approachable, professional, trustworthy and sincere people who get the job done effectively and efficiently in a timely manner. I have had experience with other conveyancing solicitors, personal injury lawyers, family lawyers and estate planning/will preparation lawyers and have found none that match Wallace & Wallace Lawyers. Thank you."
