I have practised in litigation and dispute resolution for over 15 years and have worked in a range of matters from simple debt collection to large scale, complex litigation.
I have a strong focus on courtroom advocacy, but also enjoy digging deeper into the law behind clients’ problems and providing detailed advice about the matter.
Having been involved in many hundreds of matters over the years, both as a solicitor and a barrister, I have a deep understanding of litigation tactics and strategy. I am passionate about using that experience and understanding to deliver outcomes for clients that are best suited to their individual circumstances.
I have a particularly keen interest in helping people and businesses who are in financial distress navigate the complex and daunting world of insolvency.
Outside the law, I enjoy running and have recently completed my first marathon. I like to think I bring that same level of dedication and perseverance to my legal work.
I also enjoy giving back to the local community and am a past president of the Sunrise Rotary Club, a board member for IDEAL Placements, and a committee member for the Mackay Benevolent Society, as well as being on the committee of my son’s Scout group.
